Hi! I’m Tracy Tong, and I write romantic comedies that are funny, warm, and just a little bit messy. I love a good slow burn with a pay-off that’s (hopefully) worth it. 

I’ve always enjoyed writing, both just for fun, but also in my career. Now, after years of writing for other people in the corporate world, I finally decided to really sit down, focus, and write for myself. What started as a creative outlet between moving countries, raising a blended family, and adjusting to a new life from Australia to Canada quickly turned into a passion project… and then a book. And then another. And then another.

Now, I’m the author of:

  • Love at First Flight: The Story of Sophie and Daniel (published)
  • You Had Me at Waffles: The Story of Emily and Adam (published), and now
  • 404: Love Not Found: The Story of Harper and Jonah (recently published)

All books are part of the “Love: Some Assembly Required” series, a collection of romantic comedies following the lives of two characters who are doing their best with the emotional tools they have, and the occasional misunderstanding. The books can be read independently.
